Workers are unaware that the law has provided them with remedies which will allow them to recover fair and reasonable compensation. The law does not prohibit the injured worker from bringing a lawsuit against any other person, company or firm who may have been responsible for the accident and the injuries resulting.

An Employer can never fire you for filing a workmen’s compensation claim. Neither your employer nor their insurance company can force you to accept a settlement. Every situation is different and unique. The amount of your settlement or the value of your case is determined by your age, type of job, amount earned, and the degree of injury.
